  • Major genres in textual studies: Fiction Poetry Drama
  • Figurative language: Metaphor, Metonymy and synecdoche, personification.
  • Literary devices: Ambiguity, Ellipsis, Hyperbole and understatement.
  • Periods of English Literatures: From AngloSaxon period to modern time.
