اهداف المقرر

  • At the end of the course, the students will be able to demonstrate beginning nursing skills in health promotion and illness prevention utilizing the nursing process; as well as value nursing as a Profession, an Art, and as a Science. Specifically, the students are expected to:
  • a. Learn the concepts of Nursing as a Science
  • b. Utilize the nursing process in the holistic care of client for the promotion and maintenance of care.
  • c. Develop their Knowledge, Skills and Attitude (KSA) in nursing as applied in the hospital and community as well.
  • c. Demonstrate correctly and tactfully the nursing procedures learned in the skills laboratory.
  • c. Demonstrate selected competencies under the eleven key areas of responsibilities pertinent to nursing.
