The course focuses on the main concepts related to First aid and Nursing in simple emergency, Responsibilities and general principles for first aiders. Students will be introduced to first aids kits and simple procedures needed in different cases of emergency. Furthermore, how to deal with patients on specific situations.

Unite II:- Bandage, material used in bandaging. Techniques of application of a roller bandage. Techniques of application of a triangular bandage. Different types of knots and slings. Unite III:- First aid kit, articles and purposes Unite IV:- Application of splints. Plaster of Paris. Traction and strapping. Definition, types of application procedure Unite V:- Emergency nursing care in o Wound o Haemorrhage o Shock o Burns and scald o Unconsciousness o Epilepsy o Drowning, strangulation, choking, inhalation of fumes o Poisoning & insect bites o Respiratory and cardiac arrest o Injuries to bones, muscles, joints o Miscellaneous conditions; dog bite, snake bite, heat stroke, frost bites Unite VI:- Transportation of injured person
